In our tests, we found we had to reload the Chrome Web store before we could download any extensions. In the lower left corner, you should see allow extensions from other stores.

If you already closed that window, click on the three dots in the top right corner and click on Extensions. After updating to Edge 98, you can navigate to edge://settings/system to enable Startup Boost. Wait for the system to download and install the latest version. To update Microsoft Edge to version 98, open the browser and go to edge://settings/help. Click on that link to go to Extension settings. Now, with Edge 98 out, Startup Boost and Edge Bar are working as they should. Open Microsoft Edge and go to Chrome web store.Īt the top of your web browser, you should see a message that says you can add extensions from the Chrome web store with a link that says Manage Extensions or Allow extensions from other stores. In the Extensions page, move the slider to enable the extension. To enable or disable the extensions, check if they are already installed by clicking the Settings and More icon in the top-right corner of the browser and then clicking Extensions. TIP: Hard to fix Windows Problems? Repair/Restore Missing Windows OS Files Damaged by Malware with a few clicks In the Edge Add-ons page, click Get and follow the on-screen instructions to install the extensions.
