The system requirements for UnHackMe include a personal computer with Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista/Seven/.1/10 32 or 64-bit and 60 MB of disk space. The list of fixed issues includes: AdWare.PriceChop(, ), pctrunner,, maintainer.exe, clipcnv.dll, Trojan Siggen4, salus.exe, obupdat.exe, venteero, sysapcrt.dll:Toolbar.SearchSuite. Enhanced detection and removal of digitally signed malware. UnHackMe has an improved malware detection engine.

UnHackMe does not slow up PC and it is compatible with any anti-virus programs.

UnHackMe was initially created as anti-rootkit software, currently it eliminates all types of malicious software: rootkits, Trojans, worms, viruses and the digitally signed Adware as well. Not too sure about the Unhackme programme and I have absolutely no idea about the Rootkit Hunter. UnHackMe finds and removes the issues that an antivirus misses. It removes invisible dangerous programs installed deep inside into the Windows kernel. It has a Program called "ImageDownloader" as "Probably Malicious" (which is a from GAotD!!! - although I don't use it) and the directory ProgramData\win-net as "prohibited" - whatever that means, the internet isn't helpful on the subject.UnHackMe is one of the best malware removal tools for Windows. So, I think worth installing as a scanner, unconvinced on ongoing monitoring if you are happy with your current AV solution. Also it only seems to have logs for when it changed things, so I can't see what it didn't like this morning without running the scan again. One thing was just a directory with some zero-length files. I ran this and it found two things it didn't like, but doesn't provide any sensible reason or a link to a reason for why they should not be liked. If your antivirus have not helped you solve the problem, you should try UnHackMe. Since that time I work every day to fix the issues that antiviruses cannot. One thing I don't like is the lack of any explanation of why it doesn't like stuff. I created UnHackMe in 2006 to fix the problem that antivioruses did not fix: detecting rootkits.

I have installed previous GAotD versions of this and don't run it all the time but just have it to do a scan if anything concerns me.
